Miss South India title contest

KOCHI: The Hairomax Miss South India 2010 contest will be held at hotel Le Meridien International Convention Centre at 6.30 pm on Saturday.

Contestants from Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh will compete for the title. The final four from Kerala are Aiswarya Muraleedharan, Geethu Christy, Priyanka Mohan and Denita Anand. 

The three-and-a-half hour programme will comprise four sequences and cultural extravaganza.

Former Miss India and actor Swetha Vijay, actors Aditi Chibber and Kaushal Prasad, model Simer Mottiani, model groomer Manish Khullar, media personalities Vijay Babu and Thoshma Biju, and fashion designer Sajimon Parayil are the judges. 

The winners will be awarded a gold-plated crown designed by Prakashan Parakkat.

The title winner will get a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh, the first runner-up Rs 50,000 worth gifts and second runner-up Rs 25,000 worth gifts.

Apart from the title winners, the other subtitles to be won are Miss Beautiful Hair, Miss Beautiful Smile, Miss Beautiful Skin, Miss Beautiful Face, Miss Beautiful Eyes, Miss Congeniality, Miss Catwalk, Miss Perfect 10, Miss Talented and Miss Photogenic.

The four sequences include designer sari round, casuals, black and black and linen wear designed by Sajimon Parayil. The show is being organised by Pegasus Events.
