Indiavision award for Leelakumari Amma

KOCHI: Leelakumari Amma, of Periya, Kasargode, has been selected as the ‘Indiavision Person of the year 2010’ for fighting for the cause of Endosulfan victims.The award carries `1 lakh, a citation and an Indiavision memento.The award was announced by jury chairman M T Vasudevan Nair.The jury were T J S George, Editorial Adviser, The New Indian Express, Former Chief secretary Padma Ramachandran, and N S Madhavan.
