Ballot against new RTI Commissioners

HYDERABAD: Samachara Hakku Prachara Ikya Vedika will hold a people's ballot across the state on February 15 and 16 in protest against the state government's decision to appoint eight RTI commissioners who had a political background.

The Ikya Vedika is planning to gather the support of over one lakh people against the state government's proposal.

As part of their fight against the proposed appointments, the Ikya Vedika staged a dharna at Indira Park here on Saturday.
