Veterinary year events

CHENNAI: As part of Word Veterinary Year celebrations, the Madras Veterinary College, Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal sciences University (TANUVAS) will celebrate the 250th year of the profession by conducting seminars, exhibitions and workshops.

The event with the theme ‘One world One health’ will be conducted from July 29 to August 1. It aims  to showcase contributions of veterinarians, encouraging school children to take interest in the profession and popularising new-end veterinary science technology.

The event will cater to the student community, research scholars, farmers and self help groups interested in augmenting the productivity of their livestock.
