Understanding of god

God is omnipresent. To me, god exists in everyone. Every moment in front of another human is an opportunity to find god in his highest values and best self. Loving people unconditionally is what I think god is all about. As they say, anbe sivam (love is god).

Spiritual practices

I am definitely not a very religious person, I am more inclined towards spirituality. Understanding myself through introspection is what I believe spirituality is. Once the discovery starts, intense faith, trust and respect towards all forms of life cannot be stopped and that, to me, is spirituality. Religious festivals mean spending time with family, eating good food and having a whale of a time.

Belief in miracles

Every day is a miracle. It is a miracle to be alive and to have loved ones around us. The rising and setting of the sun is also a miracle, according to me. Life by itself is also a beautiful miracle.

Favourite pilgrimage spots

The only pilgrimage spot I can think of is Tirupati. Visiting the temple is such a wonderful experience and walking to the top of the hill gives me a sense of achievement and so much joy.

Influence

Well, there is something beautiful in every religion. Knowing beautiful people from all religions has only made me realise that experiencing god is very simple. All you need to do is look for the best in everyone.
