BANGALORE: Are you confused about which bus to take for any destination?

Bangalore’s bus passengers now have a free and easy solution to end commuting woes.

The Bangalore version of Mobile 4 Mumbai (m4mum), a popular free bus search application, has been launched as Mobile 4 Bangalore.

The application, which can be downloaded on almost any phone, will give information on bus routes for free.

Neither do you send messages to any number nor will you pay for the service.

The application was first launched in Mumbai by a four-member team headed by Raxit Sheth, founder of m4mum, in December 2009.

About 10,000 people downloaded the application in Mumbai.

The team has also launched other applications for auto and taxi fares in Mumbai.

“We have launched the application for Bangaloreans,” said Moksh Juneja, a team member. “We plan to launch it in Pune and Hyderabad as well.”

The application can be downloaded from www.blr.m4mum.com and installed or it can be transferred onto your phone from a computer or a phone through Bluetooth or USB device.
